The data in the BarnOwl Policy and Claims Source Data Requirements format is received from your partners on a daily and monthly basis.

Data Quality

BarnOwl IDW checks the data quality and applicable business rules and provides detailed feedback on all issues and errors. There are certain minimum data quality requirements, but this is also an ongoing exercise to analyse, report and improve the quality of the source data.

Conform & Integrate

The process of mapping the source data terminology to the required standard terms or "golden records" allowing for the data to then be easily integrated into your environment for use in other systems or your required reporting.

Reports & Analytics

The end state is for the data to be stored in a manner specifically catering to reporting and integration. Data deltas are clean and the data structure allows for very easy integration into further downstream systems for financial integration, reinsurance reporting, or analytics.

 

Using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or any compatible reporting tool, BarnOwl IDW can serve information to enable dashboards, trend analysis, slice-and-dice analytics, and forecasting.

 

Over and above the information collected from your partners, we enhance the data with various calculated measures to enable in-depth analysis of your data from individual risks to your entire portfolio in a single view.
